Hmm, had a fun day today? Woke up and started to check my Maple things. Haha, as usual. Played a few rounds of Monster Carnival then went to Lot'1 to meet Teddy. KFC-ed together before going to The Madeira. Celebrated nothing there? With all the to-be SLs?

Slacked and waited for Ivan to come then swam. Zhiqian got the rubber ball so we played polo? Swim like mad. Then Jerome came and we swam and play around before changing and make a trip up to Zhiqian's apartment. Slacked around again, at Slacker's Den. Haha then left to Gombak then ate at Kopitiam with Jerome.

2010 South Africa FIFA World Cup
Group Stages predictions

Group A:
South Africa
Mexico
Uruguay
France

My bid is that France and South Africa/Uruguay will qualify for the Quater-finals. Quite obvious France will be the powerhouse in this group. They had a glimpse of gold in 2006 but lost to Italy in that controversial-packed match. With a bunch of experience in them, they might be on top of the group.

Not to leave out Uruguay as their friendlies prove to be vital clinching 2 wins and a draw. Who knows? This team might be a wild card. However, hosts South Africa, who has the advantage of training on their own turf regularly, might use it against their rivals and qualify for the quarters.

Group B:
Argentina
Nigeria
Korea Republic
Greece

The top 2, in my opinion, will be Argentina and Greece or Korea. Argentina may have a rough road during qualifications, but Maradona might have learnt his lessons and who knows? Argentina might buckle up their laces and finish near finals?

Greece might stand a chance as well, although their friendlies weren't that good, but they have experienced players in their squad and that might prove to be the winning factor. And if all those fails, Korea might qualify for the quarters with Argentina.

Group C:
England
United States of America
Algeria
Slovenia

England and USA/Slovenia are my bids for the top 2. Capello controversial squad selection might just change England's luck in the World Cup as they were denied to the semis since 2002. With their league the best in the world, they might ease through this group.

USA has a huge breed of talents like Donovan, who made an impact in Everton. With their country now gaining a lot of support, the Americans may find themselves through the quarters for the first time since 1998. And again, if all those fails, the next candidate would be Slovenia. Renowned for their midfield discipline, they might just capitalize on any mistakes made and top the group.

Group D:
Germany
Australia
Serbia
Ghana

My personal favorite Germany and Ghana or Australia is my bid to top the group. Germany, an experience-packed team, may get a chance for gold like in 2002. With an all-rounded squad players, Germany will no doubt top the group with ease.

Ghana West Africa is the next favorite. They could use their neighbor's soil for training and with that familiarisation of the pitch and play, they would definitely top the group. The Socceroos will also no doubt hunt for any banana slips of the 3 teams they are contesting to top the group.

Group E:
Netherlands
Cameroon
Japan
Denmark

Holland and Denmark. Holland breed their players from all over the world and with such experience in their team, this favorites will no doubt advance to the quarters.

Denmark has a rising growth of talent and like Netherlands, they breed players from all over the world to gain experience and might use it against their rivals to compete for the 2 spots.

Group F:
Italy
New Zealand
Paraguay
Slovakia

Reigning champions Italy and Slovakia will be in the top 2 spots. Italy will look to defend their championship this year again and with this determination, together with the same squad competed in 2006, they might cruise to the top without any difficulties.

Slovakia, renowned for their solid defending will compete with Italy for the top spot and a top 2 finish seems inevitable.

Group G:
Brazil
Korea DPR
Ivory Coast
Portugal

Brazil and Portugal or Ivory Coast are my bid to be top 2. Brazil, known for their samba/dribbling skills, have a squad of eager youths and experienced players from the finals in 2002, and won it. They would look to regain what's they have lost 4 years ago.

Portugal, with their powerful forwards will surge to top the group. However, the Elephants might step in their way and who knows? Top the group with Brazil.

Group H:
Spain
Switzerland
Honduras
Chile

My bid for the top 2 would be Spain and Chile. Ranked first in the world, Spain will look to win the cup like they won the Euros 2 years ago. With young talents in their squad, they would have lots of 'energy' to surge to the top of the table.

Chile, known for their midfield control, are very likely to top the table with Spain as they have the movement of the game very much in their control.

Haha called 987fm station for fun last night. Didn't expect an answer, but there was. Chuatio I didn't even know what to say. So I follow what others say like dedicate to friends. zzz. DJ like talking to herself before I started speaking... LOL. Lucky on Desiree's show if Muttons I nervous they sure guailan one. =)

Hmm today went to school and after flag-raising went back to class to play Boggle. Dumbest game ever invented by Parker Brothers. So slacked with Miss Claudia until Ms Tan came to brief on the project. Recess then D'Gig.

So-so? I think Ruipeng bro's era got better bands. Haha. Jeered at Juraidah once she appeared on stage. Super funny. And that Aishah also... my rookie sibeh cmi. LOL. What was she thinking when she lied there? Ah well...

Back to class to get my report slip. My class position has never been this since the first report slip I received. First time level position was >100.

Today is the second day of the Post-Examinations Activities. Yesterday was kinda okay? Reported to school early, at 0725 instead of 0825. No big difference. Had the Sexuality talk... informative and at the same time disgusting.

Back to class after that to change into our PE Attire for Napfa test. I've flunk the whole thing- as usual- so no big deal. Had recess before going back to class to check the marks before it get keyed into the report cards. Another funny segment of Mama Chao at that time as well.

Followed Teddy, Jerome, Zhiqian, Yongqin, Ruipeng, Ignatius and Hongkai to Bt. Panjang Plaza. Teddy bought his flip-flops and went to RSH to look for goggles for Zhiqian but to no avail. Headed to Kopitiam to have lunch. Later took 975 with Jerome to Sunshine Place then went to Teddy's house to slack? Was suppose to help him fix his AOE3. Zhiqian took care of it in an instant.

Train-ed home after slacking at a nearby playground. Haha. Had basketball match later that night too.
*****
And today, went to Changi Airport to have an Amazing Race? Teamed with Teddy, Shawn and Siggy. Ah well... kinda fine and sorry to deprive the team members from break time. =(

Nothing much and I wonder what will the schedule be like for this Thursday... =\
*****

Not a bad PPV after all. Punk vs Mysterio match was really good! Can't believe Punk is shaved. Lol. Disappointed that Miz and Jericho didn't win Hart Dynasty but the Codebreaker was sick! Last but not the very least, the "I Quit" Match. The ending to that match was unbelievable. WWE might have a rating of 14 soon? Hope so.

Woke up at noon. Realised my dad did not take the PSP away from me. I guess he woke up late. Ah well. Phoned Burger King to lodge that complaint. Settled it eventually and I went to have lunch. My mother was feeling bored so we went to Sim Lim Square.

Got the RAM there. And the price was halved within a year. 147 to Commonwealth Station and there was this really fierce sister, about 11? Teaching her little bro on the upper deck in front of me. She 'pekcek' until started shouting at her bro and telling him to draw models etc.

In the end, train-ed home and then went for zadankai at Uncle Rowland's place. Lively discussion. Chiong-ed home afterwards to install the RAM and ta-da its working! Woots! Although quite low but I found it kinda fast already. LOL.

Tiring but fun day today. Woke up at 9am. Got ready then saw almost 6 people chatting non stop outside my house's corridor. Got ready my bike and waited like 20minutes but they still there. So I just said excuse me and all siam. Haha.

Cycled to Teddy's house. Slacked there to wait for Ignatius and Zhiqian. Once they arrived, left to meet Jerome halfway. After meeting, cycled to Sunshine Place to replace Jerome's back tyre. Cost $18. Ate at the Kopitiam there.

Lunch-ed and then cycled to Shawn's house to play basketball. Didn't play for long, left soon after to Ignatius' house via Bt. Batok Road, Old Jurong Road, *already closed* Road, Jalan Boon Lay. Slacked there to wait for the rain to stop. Stopped soon then cycled to Jurong Point and parked at the MRT Station's bicycle bay.

Dinner-ed at Kopitiam and Ignatius left soon. Shopped for Teddy's sister birthday gift before heading home via Boon Lay Way, Jurong Town Hall Road, Bt. Batok Road, Brickland Road and CCK Drive.

Long day... nearly lost my lock. Thanks Teddy for finding it. Hope results will be okay tomorrow.

Long exciting day today, went for breakfast with my dad and then went to shop for groceries. tsk. Called Sigmund and met him at Gombak. Train-ed to Bishan then went on the Circle Line to Promenade Station.

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Went on to visit the Helix the first thing we went out of the station.

Photobucket
Also saw the process of the construction for the YOG Opening Ceremony. Sad that NDP will be at Padang this year. That place kinda, you know, weird.

Took 960 to Sim Lim Square. Went to eat Burger King at Burlington Square first. Fuck! Stupid Shift Coordinator, see me small small, owe me burger ask me come back take? _|_ Others you give them la.

She asked me to take from far but I didn't. She came and give it as she also had to give to another person. Say "Thank You. Enjoy your meal." to the other. Say "I call you come, you never take. Haiyo. Never mind." Seriously poor service. I'm gonna write a formal letter to the Headquarters the first thing next morning.

At Sim Lim, really small crowd so realised that RAM prices have dropped but since I don't see the urge to have it, I didn't bought it. They sold Adobe CS4 Photoshop for SGD$1620?! Who the heck is going to buy that?!

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
Took 139 to Bukit Merah. Thought it would reach Queensway as Sigmund wanted to buy a basketball, but it didn't. Took the new front seats and he just can't stop laughing at the guy next to us! The centre-pic and right-pic. Apparently his screen came off his laptop and only had the keyboard. zzz. The driver thought we were laughing at him. Kept diao-ing. zzz

Photobucket
Reached Bukit Merah interchange. Then took 123 to Queensway Shopping Centre. Didn't shop much as it was kinda expensive. Went to the arcade instead.

PhotobucketPhotobucket
This basketball machine is really crazy! The tickets they issue for winning is alot! Played over 8 times?! Maniac.

Photobucket
LOL!

PhotobucketPhotobucket
Felt lucky so I tried my luck on this crane machine. OMG! I got it on my first attempt there! Second time liao. I got it for the first time trying at Jurong Point. Still in my cupboard.

Later exchanged the tickets for Mentos and many other food stuffs. LOL. Also got play the sniping game there. Never see those machines nowadays le.

197-ed to Jurong East Interchange, took the Yew Tee train and homed. Also saw a girl fainting in the train, lucky the train ends at Yew Tee.

Home for dinner then pushed my punctured-tyre-bike to Esso gas station. Pump air then headed to the stadium. Zhiqian was still at home so we cycled to Sunshine Plaza. Later chiong-ed to the stadium just in time to meet Jerome and watch soccer together.

SAF lost 1-0. The team really can't do well without their old guns. Later went back to Esso to pump Jerome's bike. But it turns out the tyre rim came off. So it needs a new rim replaced. Homed soon after.

Went to my cousin's house yesterday to visit my grandma. Walking around Circuit estate really brings back some old memories.

Photobucket

Took a train to Bishan before changing into the Circle Line and off at MacPherson Station. Intended to visit Nicoll Highway and Stadium Station but dropped it as my mother was pressing me to reach earlier.

Photobucket
Used to play right here in this small garden in MacPherson Park. Former-former home used to be here. Remember spending time playing in the night here. One memorable incident was one of those Mid-Autumn celebrations. Had lots of fun...

Photobucket
This is where I used to dine at. Its going for a face-lift. Hope to see the Western Food stall and the Turtle Soup stall again.

PhotobucketPhotobucket
The already 'upgraded' wet market I use to spend with my Aunt and Uncle during weekends in the past.

Photobucket
Worn out basketball court nearby. Used to spend nights watching people playing basketball.

Photobucket
Kinda shocked that the former Kindergarten I used to study at is now gone! Shocking... used to chiong down for lessons with my cousins.

Photobucket
This space used to have a mini-playground and now its gone. Used to wait for my aunt to pick me up after my lessons here too.

Went up and Aunt Peggy told me that there were alot of guests coming. So I assisted her and Kelvin to cook. Kelvin wanted to cook so I prepared the dishes to cook. Was later informed Aunt Jenny was coming and had to go to Aljunied Station to pick her.

The route is almost 10minutes. So yea... kinda tiring. Uncle Daniel and Aunt Alice came later as well. Ate dinner then slack for awhile before getting a carpool from Uncle Daniel. Man! He is a really awesome driver. Reached home soon after.

Many things have changed gradually in a span of 9 years. Brings back good and bad memories. Haiz... if I had known that was the last time he would see and touch him, I should have shown him more love. I miss you...

Today's paper is Physics. Memorizing formulas, formulas and more formulas the night before. Still get stuck on some questions but I think the paper was ok?

Ate with co. before heading home with Jerome. Bought the Egg Mayo pancake from Mr. Bean. Turns out pretty nice but it would seriously been better if it was a sandwich. Got home, bathed and started to revise Add. Math. Revise till I fell asleep and just woke up not long ago.

I still have Principles of Account to study as well and I doubt I will study that today, A. Math more important =( Hope questions won't get too tough tomorrow~

Isn't it an interesting end to the English Premier League? Chelsea won the league, Manchester United just a point behind them, and Arsenal who was predicted to be trailing a point behind Manchester United, was way off the 2 clubs. I'll still be behind the Gunners, especially seeing how Arsene Wenger really cares about each player during training.

Hope the injury list will wipe off next season. Really hope Hugo Lloris or Joe Hart could join because Almunia is getting old and Fabianski lacks of experience. Joe Cole or Shaun Wright-Phillips would be a good signing to cover the flanks. No forwards would be needed. Many players are rumored to leave the club so signing a few veterans and utilize the youth squad would be a good idea.
----------
Anyway, back to my own life, had Science Chemistry examinations today. Didn't study much about it, so some questions still kinda 'stuck'. Ended superbly early, at 9.20am, went to have lunch before playing basketball with Shawn, Weixiang, Jingzhe, Teddy, Chengwu, Ignatius and Ruipeng at Shawn's house.

Played till one? Went to Shawn's house, bathed then he started viewing my video on CNA because Teddy recommended it to him. Studied Physics till evening then went to Kopitiam to try the Fish Slice Soup. Shoudl try XO one. haha.

6 Chapters of chapter to revise. Mati

Arsenal vs Fulham

Goalkeeper: Since Almunia has suffered from a wrist injury, Wenger would most probably replace him with the service of Fabianski. The latter has let his weakness out loud when he conceded 2 goals airborne. I would like to see Vito Mannone start as he is capable of consistent keeping.

Defenders: Campbell and Silvestre will no doubt be a defensive rock in the lineup. And in addition, Clichy may come back after suffering a minor injury. Sagna might join Clichy or maybe Armand Traore as full backs. These defenders must have their lesson learnt last week on how to counter airborne feeds from their opponent.

Midfielders: The injury list just goes on and on and on. Abou Diaby and Samir Nasri can play in the middle of the park. In my opinion, Rosicky is out and Arsenal has lost a good player that possesses good control of the ball. Walcott and Arshavin can also engineer the flanks with ease due to their speedy, darting runs.

Forwards: Nicklas Bendtner is out with a groin injury and will miss this match. In my take, Robin van Persie, who will captain the team, will team with Eduardo up front. Eduardo might play a role as a second striker as his assists are deadly.
